Formation
Explanation
Strongly emphasizes a reason: it is precisely this, and nothing else. The sentence often ends with のだ or のです. It is also used to present a reason that goes against common expectations, such as 忙しいからこそ休む (I rest precisely because I'm busy). The reason is one the speaker sees as important; it is not used for excuses.
Examples
It's precisely because my family supported me that I was able to keep going this far.
Precisely because I'm busy, I make sure to relax on my days off.
It's precisely because you're a close friend that I tell you honestly even things that are hard to say.
Precisely because it's a small company, each employee's opinion is valued.
Notes
からといって weakens a reason (that alone is not enough), while からこそ strengthens it.
