N といったところだ is the speaker's estimate that something is roughly N and no more. It often follows a quantity and is used with words like せいぜい or まだ. It suggests that the amount or level is not very high, so it is not used to emphasize a large number. In conversation you also hear といったところかな and といったところです.

注意
Do not use it to stress a large number, as in 五万人も集まった. It is also not used after commands or wishes.
