Because / since ~ (soft, polite reason)
A node B means A is the reason or cause of B. It is close to kara, but node sounds softer and more objective, as if simply explaining the facts. So it is common in polite requests and when giving excuses, for example for being late. For strong opinions or commands, kara sounds more natural.

In order to ~ / for the sake of ~
There are two uses. (1) Purpose: A tame ni B means the subject does B in order to achieve A. A is a deliberate action like iku or kau, and the same person does A and B. (2) Benefit: person/thing + no tame ni means 'for the sake of' them, as in kazoku no tame ni. Nouns like kenkou no tame ni can also show a purpose.
