Formação
- V普通形 + でしょう
- いA普通形 + でしょう
- なA + でしょう(「だ」を取る)
- N + でしょう(「だ」を取る)
Explicação
でしょう has two uses. (1) Guess: with falling intonation, it says something is probably true when you are not sure. It is common in weather forecasts and often goes with たぶん (probably). (2) Confirmation: with rising intonation, it checks that the listener agrees or knows, like "..., right?" or "isn't it?" The word before でしょう is in the plain form, but だ is dropped after na-adjectives and nouns: 雨でしょう, 静かでしょう.
Exemplos
明日は たぶん 雨でしょう。
It will probably rain tomorrow.
田中さんは 忙しいですから、たぶん 来ないでしょう。
Tanaka-san is busy, so I guess Tanaka-san won't come.
リンさんは 毎日 勉強して いますから、テストは 大丈夫でしょう。
Lin-san studies every day, so the test will probably be fine.
A「この ケーキ、おいしいでしょう。」
B「ええ、とても おいしいです。」A: This cake is good, isn't it? B: Yes, it's very good.
Observações
Do not keep だ (not 雨だでしょう or 静かだでしょう). でしょう is not normally used for your own decided actions (say 私は 明日 行きます, not 行くでしょう). The confirming でしょう can sound rude to teachers or superiors.

1空が 暗いです。午後は たぶん 雨が 降る( )。
Resposta e explicação
Resposta: 2 でしょう
"The sky is dark. It will probably rain in the afternoon." たぶん shows a guess, so でしょう is used after the plain form 降る. でした, ましょう and ません cannot follow the dictionary form.
2もう 夜の 十時ですから、公園は( )でしょう。
Resposta e explicação
Resposta: 4 静か
"It's already ten at night, so the park is probably quiet." A na-adjective connects directly to でしょう without だ or な: 静かでしょう. 静かに is the form used before a verb and does not fit here.
3A「旅行は 楽しかった( )。」
B「ええ、とても 楽しかったです。」
Resposta e explicação
Resposta: 3 でしょう
A checks with B: "The trip was fun, wasn't it?" and B agrees. The confirming でしょう follows the plain past 楽しかった and is said with rising intonation. ますか, ましょう and ませんか cannot follow 楽しかった.
