Adjectives ending in い: polite, noun-modifying and negative forms
い-adjectives end in い, like 大きい (big), 新しい (new) and おいしい (delicious). At the end of a sentence, add です to be polite: 高いです (it is expensive). Before a noun, use the adjective as it is: 高い 本 (an expensive book). For the negative, change the final い to く and add ないです: 高くないです. 高くありません is also possible. いい (good) is irregular: its negative is よくないです.

Adjectives that take な before a noun
な-adjectives are words like 静か (quiet), 元気 (healthy, lively), 有名 (famous), 便利 (convenient) and きれい (pretty, clean). At the end of a sentence they take です, just like nouns: 静かです. Before a noun they need な: 静かな 町 (a quiet town). The negative is also the same as for nouns: 静かじゃありません or 静かではありません. In conversation, 静かじゃないです is common too.

"There are no people in the library at night. It is very quiet." No people means 静か. にぎやか (lively) is the opposite. とても cannot come before a noun such as 町 or 部屋.

"This park is very big." とても (very) comes before an adjective. どれ, だれ and どこ are question words and do not fit here.
