Explanation
Vやすい means easy to do and Vにくい means hard to do (a pen that is easy to write with, a road that is hard to walk on). やすい can also describe a tendency: gets dirty easily, breaks easily. Both conjugate like i-adjectives: やすくて, にくかった.

この ペンは 軽くて、とても 書きやすいです。
This pen is light and very easy to write with.
先生の 説明は いつも わかりやすいです。
The teacher's explanations are always easy to understand.
雪の 日は 道が すべって 歩きにくいです。
On snowy days the roads are slippery and hard to walk on.
白い 服は 汚れやすいので、気を つけて います。
White clothes get dirty easily, so I'm careful.
Notes
Attach to the masu-stem: not 書くやすい or 歩いやすい. This やすい is different from 安い (cheap).
