Explanation
いかん means "how something is," so N いかんで means "depending on how N turns out." いかんによっては means "in some cases," often followed by a special result such as cancellation. It can also end a sentence as 〜は〜いかんだ. It is formal and goes with nouns like 結果, 成績, 努力, 対応, 天候.

It means almost the same as 次第で but is more formal, used in news and rules.
