N3 Gramática 7/60

There's no way ~ / cannot possibly ~

Formación

Explicación

This strongly denies a possibility: "Considering the reasons, there's absolutely no way ~." It carries the speaker's strong feelings and is often used with こんなに, あんなに, or そんなに. Compared with わけではない ("not necessarily"), the denial is much stronger.

Ejemplos

There's no way I can do such a difficult problem in an hour.

There's no way a new hotel in front of the station is that cheap.

There's no way the zoo is quiet on a Sunday.

That shop is open every day, so there's no way it's closed today.

Notas

In casual speech が is sometimes dropped (わけない). It means almost the same as はずがない, but わけがない sounds more emotional and is common in conversation.
