Explicación
Used when you feel sure about something based on what you have seen or heard. It is stronger than だろう or かもしれない. Na-adjectives and nouns connect directly, without だ. It is common in writing; in conversation people often say きっと〜だ instead.

電気が消えている。田中さんはもう 帰ったに違いない。
The lights are off. Tanaka must have gone home already.
こんなに人が並んでいるから、あの店のラーメンは おいしいに違いない。
With this many people lining up, that shop's ramen must be good.
マリアさんはいつも図書館にいる。本が 好きに違いない。
Maria is always in the library. She must love books.
あの背の高い人は、バスケットボールの選手に違いない。
That tall person must be a basketball player.
Notas
~はずだ is a logical conclusion from facts or reasons; ~に違いない shows the speaker's strong personal conviction. Do not insert だ: 好きだに違いない is wrong.
