Although ~; even so ~
B means 'A is true, but B is not what you would expect from A.' The speaker accepts A and then states something that does not match it, or something to be careful about. It can also start a sentence (とはいえ、) like a conjunction referring back to the previous sentence. It is close to といっても but a little more formal.
Although it's spring, it's still cold in the mornings and evenings.
I was busy with work, but it was wrong of me not to contact you even once.
Even ~; even though ~ (formal)
B is a formal way of saying 'even A, B.' A is often someone of high status or something special (an expert, a company president), or a minimal amount like 一日 (one day) or 一円 (one yen), stressing that even A is no exception. B is usually a negative, an obligation, or the speaker's judgment, such as わけではない, てはいけない or なければならない.

Tomorrow's chance of rain is 30 percent." The accuracy of forecasts like this has improved dramatically over the last few decades.
This is because advances in observation technology and computers have revealed the movements of clouds and wind in detail.
However, even though their accuracy has improved, weather forecasts are not all-powerful.
In particular, predicting rain that falls on a small area for a short time is still difficult.
In the air, small changes lead one after another to big changes, so even a tiny error can greatly change the result.
Much about the sky still remains unknown.
Even a veteran weather forecaster cannot say for certain "what time and in which town" it will rain.
So experts say they want people not to trust forecasts too much and to check the sky with their own eyes too.
By the way, one forecaster laughed and said this at the end of the interview:
Actually, yesterday a sudden shower got my own laundry wet."

Line 5 says even a tiny error can greatly change the result. The text says observation technology and computers have advanced, so 1 and 4 are wrong.
The forecaster's own laundry got wet in a sudden shower. It is a personal example of line 7: even a veteran forecaster cannot be sure when and where it will rain.
The sentence: "This map app is very accurate; your location is off by only a few meters."
万能ではない means it can't do everything. "However convenient a tool is, it isn't all-purpose, so you need to think about how to use it." 依然 and 飛躍的 don't fit this pattern.
過信する means to trust too much. "Don't trust machines too much and forget to check things yourself."
とはいえ means "although ~ is true, still." "Although it's spring on the calendar, mornings and evenings are still quite cold." The other options show reason or addition.
N といえども means "even N." "Even professional players can't win every time." だけあって means "as expected of," which is the opposite.
簡単とはいえ means "even though it's easy." "It may be easy, but you won't score without preparing." だからこそ and なだけに make "easy" a reason, which doesn't fit.
"The accuracy of forecasts went up."
ごさ is written 誤差 (margin of error). 誤 means mistake and 差 means difference.
