A とあれば B means 'if A is the case (or if it is for A), then B.' It is often used as in 子どものためとあれば (if it's for my child) or 必要とあれば (if necessary), and B usually shows the speaker's willingness to do something difficult or unusual. It is not used for simple time conditions or natural results. It is a formal expression.
娘のためとあれば、父はどんなに遠くても車で迎えに行く。
If it's for his daughter, my father will drive to pick her up no matter how far it is.
必要とあれば、資料をもう一度お送りします。
If necessary, I will send you the materials again.
Once ~ happens, there's no going back
A たら最後 B / A たが最後 B means 'once A happens, there is no stopping it and B will surely follow.' B is an irreversible or troublesome result, such as 'won't stop' or 'can't ~.' It is often used for someone's habits or for rules. たが最後 is slightly more formal.
兄はゲームを始めたら最後、呼んでも返事をしない。
Once my brother starts playing a game, he won't answer even when you call him.
部長は話し始めたが最後、一時間は終わらない。
Once the manager starts talking, he goes on for at least an hour.
