〜でしょう
probably ~ (a guess); ~, right? (asking for agreement)
วิธีสร้าง
- V普通形 + でしょう
- いA普通形 + でしょう
- なA + でしょう（「だ」を取る）
- N + でしょう（「だ」を取る）
でしょう has two uses. (1) Guess: with falling intonation, it says something is probably true when you are not sure. It is common in weather forecasts and often goes with たぶん (probably). (2) Confirmation: with rising intonation, it checks that the listener agrees or knows, like "..., right?" or "isn't it?" The word before でしょう is in the plain form, but だ is dropped after na-adjectives and nouns: 雨でしょう, 静かでしょう.

田中さんは 忙しいですから、たぶん 来ないでしょう。
Tanaka-san is busy, so I guess Tanaka-san won't come.
〜だけ・〜しか〜ない
only ~ (しか is used with a negative)
วิธีสร้าง
- N／数量 + だけ
- N／数量 + しか + V（否定の形：〜ません・〜ない）
Both mean "only." だけ simply limits something and can be used in a positive sentence: 百円だけ あります (I have just 100 yen). しか must be used with a negative form, but the meaning is still "only"; it adds the feeling that the amount is small or not enough: 百円しか ありません (I have only 100 yen). が and を may be dropped after だけ, and しか replaces が and を: 水しか 飲みません.

朝は 風が 強いでしょう。でも、強い 風は 朝だけでしょう。The wind will probably be strong in the morning. But the strong wind will probably be only in the morning.
夜は 寒く なって、雪が 降るでしょう。でも、雪は 少ししか 降らないでしょう。At night it will get cold, and it will probably snow. But only a little snow will probably fall.
明日の 夜 出かける 人は、暖かい コートを 着て ください。If you are going out tomorrow night, please wear a warm coat.
あさっては 一日 晴れるでしょう。夜は 空が とても きれいでしょう。星を たくさん 見る ことが できるでしょう。The day after tomorrow will probably be sunny all day. At night the sky will probably be very clear. You will probably be able to see lots of stars.
