คำอธิบาย
Used to say that something caused a bad result. It puts the responsibility on that cause and can sound like a complaint or blame. At the end of a sentence it becomes 〜のせいだ. 〜せいか means "perhaps because of ~" when you are not sure of the cause.

電車が遅れたせいで、会議に間に合わなかった。
Because the train was late, I didn't make it to the meeting in time.
雪のせいで、乗る予定だった飛行機が飛ばなかった。
Because of the snow, the plane I was supposed to take didn't fly.
部屋が暗いせいで、字がよく見えない。
Because the room is dark, I can't see the letters well.
駅の中が複雑なせいで、何度も道に迷った。
Because the inside of the station was so complicated, I got lost again and again.
ข้อควรรู้
Use おかげで for good results. 私のせいです is used to admit your own fault. To state a cause neutrally, ために or ので fits better.
