Now that / since ~ (so naturally one must ~)
Used to say that because of a certain fact, situation or position, something naturally follows. The second half expresses obligation, determination or judgment, such as なければならない, べきだ, つもりだ or はずだ. It is somewhat formal and common in business and writing. It is close to からには, but 以上 sounds more objective and suits statements about rules and responsibility.

Now that ~ (I'm determined to / must ~)
Expresses strong feeling: since I have done or decided ~, I will naturally follow through. The second half shows determination, wishes, obligation or commands (つもりだ, たい, なければならない, なさい). The first half is often something already done or decided, such as 決めた or 引き受けた. It is close to 以上, but からには sounds more emotional and personal.

R1田中さんについて、文章の内容と合うものはどれか。
Resposta: 2 マラソンを走ったことがないが、実行委員を引き受けた
Tanaka writes that he has never run a marathon. He joined the committee because someone from the neighborhood association asked him, so 3 is wrong. He did not refuse to run; he decided to run, so 4 is wrong.
R2「目標は二つになった」とあるが、二つの目標とは何か。
Resposta: 1 参加者を五百人にすることと、自分が三キロを最後まで走ること
Just before this, the text says: 500 runners, and me finishing the race. The original goal was 500 runners, and after he decided to run the three-kilometer course, a second goal was added.
1私が担当した仕事でミスが出たのだから、それは私の( )だ。
Resposta: 4 責任
The mistake happened in work I was in charge of, so it is my responsibility. 責任 means responsibility. 目標, 決心 and 全力 do not connect with a mistake.

Resposta: 2 諦め
I failed three times, but I kept practicing without giving up. 諦めないで means without giving up. The other verbs do not fit with continuing to practice.
3今月の売り上げの目標を、ついに( )した。
Resposta: 1 達成
We finally achieved this month's sales goal. 目標を達成する means to reach a goal. 挑戦 takes に, not を, and 決心 and 全力 do not fit.
4約束した( )、必ず守らなければならない。
Resposta: 3 以上は
Now that you've promised, you must keep your word. V plain form + 以上は means since ~, naturally you must ~. The other choices do not make sense here.
5留学する( )、その国の言葉を話せるようになりたい。
Resposta: 1 からには
Since I'm going to study abroad, I want to be able to speak that country's language. からには shows strong resolve. をきっかけに needs a noun, and 上に and ばかりか add information.
6「からには」の使い方が正しいものはどれか。
Resposta: 3 試験を受けるからには、合格を目指して勉強しよう。
After からには comes the speaker's resolve or duty, such as let's, want to, or should. 3 means Since I'm taking the exam, let's study to pass. In 1, 2 and 4, the second half is just a fact, so から or ので is needed.
7チームで目標を達成した。
Resposta: 2 たっせい
達成 is read たっせい. 達 (たつ) becomes たっ before せ. The sentence means: The team achieved its goal.
8来年はフルマラソンにちょうせんしたい。
Resposta: 4 挑戦
ちょうせん is written 挑戦. 跳 and 眺 look and sound similar but are different characters, and 選 means to choose. The sentence means: Next year I want to try a full marathon.
