Cannot possibly be ~ / there's no way ~
Based on facts or reasons the speaker knows, this strongly denies a possibility: "It can't possibly be ~." Think of it as the strong negative of 〜はずだ ("should be ~"). It means almost the same as わけがない, but はずがない sounds more like a judgment based on reasons.
I locked the door when I left, so it can't be open.
Mr. Tanaka is abroad now, so he can't possibly come to today's meeting.
Should ~ / ought to ~
This means "it is right / natural to do ~," expressing the speaker's strong opinion or advice. The negative is 〜べきではない ("should not"); 〜ないべきだ is wrong. It is stronger than 〜たほうがいい. For rules or laws, use 〜なければならない instead.
You should return things you borrowed from people right away.

Oh, so it wasn't in your bag after all. You should write a thank-you letter to the boy who found it.
