• N（場所） + に + N（物） + が + あります
• N（場所） + に + N（人・動物） + が + います
• N（物） + は + N（場所） + に + あります
• N（人・動物） + は + N（場所） + に + います

ရှင်းလင်းချက်

場所 に N が あります／います tells what or who is in a place. The place of existence is marked with に. Use あります for things and います for people and animals. To say where a known thing or person is, use N は 場所 に あります／います. You can give the place more exactly with position words: N の 上 (on), 下 (under), 中 (in), 前 (in front of), 後ろ (behind), となり (next to), 近く (near).

နမူနာများ

• 机つくえの 上うえに 辞書じしょが あります。

  There is a dictionary on the desk.

• いすの 下したに ねこが います。

  There is a cat under the chair.

• A: 駅えきの 近ちかくに 何なにが ありますか。
  B: 銀行ぎんこうと 郵便局ゆうびんきょくが あります。

  A: What is there near the station? B: There is a bank and a post office.

• A: すみません、トイレは どこに ありますか。
  B: 二階にかいに あります。

  A: Excuse me, where is the restroom? B: It's on the second floor.

မှတ်ချက်

Use に for the place where something exists and で for the place where an action is done (図書館に 本が あります / 図書館で 本を 読みます). However, when あります is about an event such as a concert or a party, the place takes で: 公園で コンサートが あります. トイレは どこに ありますか can also be said as トイレは どこですか.
