お〜ください・ご〜ください

ဖွဲ့စည်းပုံ

• お + Vます形 + ください（待つ→お待ちください）
• ご + N（する動詞の名詞）+ ください（連絡する→ご連絡ください）

ရှင်းလင်းချက်

お〜ください and ご〜ください are more polite than 〜てください. They are common in shops, stations and offices when speaking to customers or superiors. Use お with native Japanese verbs (待つ, 座る) and ご with Sino-Japanese nouns that take する (連絡, 注意).

• 順番じゅんばんに 呼よびますので、こちらで お待まちください。

  We will call you in order, so please wait here.

• どうぞ、こちらに お座すわりください。

  Please have a seat here.

• 質問しつもんが あれば、いつでも ご連絡れんらくください。

  If you have any questions, please contact us anytime.

• 階段かいだんが ありますので、足あしもとに ご注意ちゅういください。

  There are stairs, so please watch your step.

မှတ်ချက်

For 見る say ご覧ください, and for 来る say お越しください or いらっしゃってください (not お見ください or お来ください). A few Sino-Japanese words take お, such as お電話ください.
