At / on / in: marks when an action happens
に after a time word shows when an action happens. Use に with time words that contain a number: clock times (七時に), dates (五日に), months (四月に) and years (2026年に). With days of the week, に is optional (日曜日に or 日曜日). Do not use に with words such as 今日, 明日, 毎朝, 来週 and 去年. To ask, use 何時に, 何曜日に, or いつ (without に).
私は 毎朝 六時に 起きます。
I get up at six every morning.
日曜日に 友達の うちへ 行きます。
I'm going to my friend's house on Sunday.
わたしは まいにち ごぜん 六じに おきます。I get up at 6 a.m. every day.
七じに あさごはんを たべます。I eat breakfast at seven.
学校は 九じから 三じまでです。School is from nine to three.
四じに しゅくだいを します。それから、本を よみます。I do my homework at four. After that, I read a book.
よる 十じに ねます。I go to bed at ten at night.
でも、日よう日は 学校じゃありません。ごぜん 十じに おきます!But on Sundays there's no school. I get up at 10 a.m.!
まいにち 日本ごを べんきょうします。とても たのしいです。I study Japanese every day. It's a lot of fun.

Answer: 4 十じ
The text says 日よう日は 学校じゃありません。ごぜん 十じに おきます (On Sundays there's no school. I get up at 10 a.m.!). Six o'clock is for the other days.
R2四じに なにを しますか。
Answer: 2 しゅくだいを します。
The text says 四じに しゅくだいを します (I do my homework at four). Breakfast is at seven, and bedtime is at ten.

Answer: 2 おきます
You get up in the morning and then eat breakfast: "I get up at six. Then I eat breakfast." ねます (go to bed) is for the night.

Answer: 1 あさごはん
Something to eat comes before たべます: あさごはんを たべます (I eat breakfast). For しゅくだい (homework), use します.
3しゅくだいを します。( )、ねます。
Answer: 3 それから
それから means "after that": "I do my homework. After that, I go to bed." The other choices are question words.
4きょうは たのしい 一日です。
Answer: 4 いちにち
In たのしい 一日 (a fun day), 一日 is read いちにち, meaning one whole day. ついたち means the first day of the month.
5まいにち 十じ( ) ねます。
Answer: 1 に
To say what time you do something, put に after the time: 十じに ねます (I go to bed at ten).
6A「なんじ( ) おきますか。」
B「六じに おきます。」
Answer: 2 に
B answers 六じに おきます (I get up at six). The question also uses に: なんじに おきますか (What time do you get up?).
7九じ( ) 三じまで べんきょうします。
Answer: 4 から
Because 三じまで (until three) follows, the start takes から: "I study from nine to three."
8ただしい 文は どれですか。
Answer: 3 六じに おきます。
Clock times like 六じ take に: 六じに おきます (I get up at six). But まいにち, あした, and きょう do not take に.
