Great! "Postponed" means canceled, right?
No, that's not it. "Postponed" means moving the planned day to later. It says the work will be on Saturday the week after next.
Saturday the week after next... Also, it says 断水 here. What does 断水 mean?
断水 means the water doesn't come out. It says that on that day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., none of the residents can use water.
What? That day is my birthday, and I'm planning to have a party at home with friends.
That's a problem. You'd better make the food the day before.
I'll do that. I'll buy plenty of drinking water too!
But it might be postponed again. If it changes, the manager will let us know on the bulletin board, so check it from time to time.
