I'm thinking of doing ~; I've decided to ~
Volitional form + と思う tells what the speaker has decided or is planning to do. It sounds more decided than 〜たいです, which is only a wish. 〜ようと思います can express a decision made just now. 〜ようと思っています shows an intention the speaker has had for some time and still has. To talk about another person's intention, use 〜ようと思っています.
今日は 疲れたから、早く 寝ようと思います。
I'm tired today, so I think I'll go to bed early.
週末は 部屋の 掃除を しようと思います。
I'm thinking of cleaning my room this weekend.
intend to ~; plan to ~
つもり expresses a plan or intention that someone has already decided in their mind. It sounds firmer than 〜ようと思う. The usual negative is 〜ないつもりだ (intend not to ~). You can ask about someone's plans with 〜つもりですか.
来年、日本語の 試験を 受けるつもりです。
I intend to take the Japanese exam next year.
今年の 夏は どこへも 行かないつもりです。
I'm not planning to go anywhere this summer.
私は 国の 日本語学校で 二年 勉強しました。来月、この 学校を 卒業します。I have studied at a Japanese language school in my country for two years. Next month, I will graduate from this school.
来年の 春から、日本の 大学に 留学しようと 思っています。I'm thinking of studying abroad at a university in Japan from next spring.
大学では、日本の アニメの 歴史を 勉強する つもりです。At university, I intend to study the history of Japanese anime.
でも、その 前に 大学の 試験に 合格しなければなりません。But before that, I have to pass the university entrance exam.
それで、毎日の 計画を 決めました。朝は 六時に 起きて、一時間 漢字を 勉強します。So I decided on a daily plan. In the morning, I will get up at six and study kanji for an hour.
夜は 日本の アニメを 見ながら、新しい ことばを 覚えます。In the evening, I will learn new words while watching Japanese anime.
この 計画を 先生に 見せました。先生は「アニメは 一日 一時間だけですよ」と 言いました。I showed this plan to my teacher. My teacher said, 'Only one hour of anime a day.'
じつは、今は 毎晩 三時間ぐらい 見ています。でも、試験まで 一日 一時間しか 見ない つもりです。Actually, I watch about three hours every night now. But until the exam, I intend to watch only one hour a day.
将来は、日本の アニメの 会社で 働きたいです。それが 私の 大きな 目標です。In the future, I want to work at a Japanese anime company. That is my big goal.
試験まで あと 半年です。明日から 頑張ろうと 思います!There are six months left until the exam. I'm going to work hard starting tomorrow!

I passed the Japanese exam! 試験に合格する means to pass an exam. 卒業 is used with 学校を, and 留学 and 計画 do not fit with 試験に.

I'm thinking of going back to my country during the summer vacation. The volitional form of 帰る is 帰ろう, and volitional + と思っています expresses a plan you have been considering.

目標 is read もくひょう (goal), with a long ひょう. The sentence means: Today I will talk about my goals.
4日曜日は どこへも 行かない ( )です。家で ゆっくり 休みます。
答案: 3 つもり
I don't intend to go anywhere on Sunday. I'll relax at home. Vない + つもりです means you have decided not to do something. The other choices cannot follow 行かない.
5三月に 高校を ( )しました。
答案: 4 卒業
I graduated from high school in March. 学校を卒業する means to graduate from a school. 合格 uses に (高校に合格する), so it does not fit with を.
6A「来年も この 会社で 働きますか。」
B「いいえ、今年で ( )つもりです。」
答案: 2 やめる
A: Will you work at this company next year too? B: No, I intend to quit this year. つもり follows the dictionary form (or nai-form) of a verb, so やめるつもりです is correct.

Tomorrow is an important exam, right? Good luck. 頑張ってください is a common phrase to encourage someone. The other verbs do not make sense here.
8明日は 早いですから、今晩は 早く ( )と 思います。
答案: 3 寝よう
I have to get up early tomorrow, so I think I'll go to bed early tonight. For 寝る, drop る and add よう: 寝よう. Volitional + と思います states what you plan to do.
