precisely ~; ~ and nothing else (strong emphasis)
こそ follows a noun and stresses that it is this one thing and nothing else. It often shows strong feeling or determination, as in 今年こそ (this year for sure). The reply こちらこそ (the same goes for me) is also this use. With から, からこそ emphasizes a reason: it is exactly because of this that something happens.
今年こそ、N3に合格したいです。
This year, I really want to pass the N3.
「お世話になりました。」「いいえ、こちらこそお世話になりました。」
"Thank you for everything." "Oh no, I'm the one who should thank you."
things like ~ (belittling, humble, or surprised)
Both are spoken forms with two uses. (1) After a noun, they look down on something, or are humble when used about yourself (私なんか). なんか can also give a casual example (How about tea or something?). (2) なんて after a full clause shows surprise or disbelief: I can't believe that ~. なんか is not used this way.

Someone like me is still not good at all.
疲れた時は、甘いものなんかどうですか。

佐藤えっ、明日から?…うん、決心した。今年こそ実行するよ。What, from tomorrow? ...Okay, I've made up my mind. This year, I'll really do it.
