คำอธิบาย

Shows that an event became the starting point for a new action or a change in thinking or relationships. The trigger can be small or accidental. The second part usually describes a change or a new start, such as 〜を始めた or 〜ようになった. がきっかけで is also common, and を契機に is a more formal version.

日本にほんのアニメを見みたのをきっかけに、日本語にほんごの勉強べんきょうを始はじめた。

Watching Japanese anime got me started studying Japanese.
健康けんこう診断しんだんの結果けっかをきっかけに、毎朝まいあさ歩あるくようになった。

Prompted by the results of my health checkup, I started walking every morning.
旅行先りょこうさきで同おなじバスに乗のったのがきっかけで、二人ふたりは友達ともだちになった。

The two became friends because they happened to ride the same bus on a trip.
大阪おおさかへの転勤てんきんをきっかけにして、自分じぶんで料理りょうりをするようになった。

My transfer to Osaka led me to start cooking for myself.

ข้อควรรู้

With verbs, add の or こと (見たのをきっかけに, 読んだことをきっかけに). It is not used for fixed routines with no change (×毎朝7時をきっかけに起きる).
