व्याख्या
Means in the same way as something heard, seen or planned. Use Vる/Vた + とおり with verbs and Nのとおり with nouns. When attached directly to a noun, it becomes どおり (予定どおり). Use とおりに before a verb and とおりの before a noun.
उदाहरण
先生が言った とおりに 練習したら、テストでいい点が取れました。
I practiced just as the teacher said, and I got a good score on the test.
地図 のとおりに 行ったら、すぐにホテルが見つかりました。
I followed the map and found the hotel right away.
電車は予定 どおり 駅に着きました。
The train arrived at the station on schedule.
私が説明する とおりに、紙を折ってください。
Please fold the paper the way I explain.
टिप्पणी
With a noun, use Nのとおり or Nどおり. 予定とおり is incorrect.
