〜とおり

ဖွဲ့စည်းပုံ

• V辞書形 + とおり(に)
• Vた形 + とおり(に)
• N + の + とおり(に)
• N + どおり(に)

ရှင်းလင်းချက်

Means in the same way as something heard, seen or planned. Use Vる/Vた + とおり with verbs and Nのとおり with nouns. When attached directly to a noun, it becomes どおり (予定どおり). Use とおりに before a verb and とおりの before a noun.

နမူနာများ

• 先生せんせいが言いった とおりに 練習れんしゅうしたら、テストでいい点てんが取とれました。

  I practiced just as the teacher said, and I got a good score on the test.

• 地図ちず のとおりに 行いったら、すぐにホテルが見みつかりました。

  I followed the map and found the hotel right away.

• 電車でんしゃは予定よてい どおり 駅えきに着つきました。

  The train arrived at the station on schedule.

• 私わたしが説明せつめいする とおりに、紙かみを折おってください。

  Please fold the paper the way I explain.

မှတ်ချက်

With a noun, use Nのとおり or Nどおり. 予定とおり is incorrect.
