About ~ / so ~ that ~ / at least (something as small as) ~
くらい and ぐらい mean the same. (1) With numbers, they mean "about." (2) They show degree with an example, like ほど: 顔が痛くなるくらい笑った ("laughed so hard my face hurt"). (3) They present something as small or easy: 自分の部屋ぐらい自分で掃除しなさい ("At least clean your own room yourself").

The email says rent isn't as high as in Tokyo, so it is cheaper than Tokyo. The train is empty enough to sit, the supermarket is twenty minutes by car (not on foot), and the nights are very quiet.
R2マリアさんは、生活費についてどう書いていますか。
အဖြေ: 3 ガソリン代がかかるので、前とあまり変わらない
She writes that she pays for gas for the car, so her living costs are about the same as before. Prices are a little lower, but her total costs did not drop much.
1駅から遠くて、バスも少ないので、この辺は( )です。
အဖြေ: 3 不便
"It's far from the station and there are few buses, so this area is inconvenient." 不便 means inconvenient. The other words are nouns that don't describe the area here.
2毎月の( )は六万円で、部屋は少し狭いです。
အဖြေ: 1 家賃
"The monthly rent is 60,000 yen, and the room is a little small." 家賃 is money you pay for a room each month. 物価 means prices in general, so it can't be 60,000 yen.
3日曜日のデパートはとても( )いて、なかなか前に進めませんでした。
အဖြေ: 4 混んで
"The department store on Sunday was so crowded that I could hardly move forward." 混む means crowded. 空く is the opposite, and if it were closed (閉まる) you couldn't go in.
4疲れて、もう一歩も歩けない( )です。
အဖြေ: 2 くらい
"I'm so tired that I can't take another step." V plain form + くらい shows a high degree. まで, ので and ために cannot end the sentence before です like this.
5この町の冬は、私の国( )寒くないです。
အဖြေ: 3 ほど
"Winter in this town is not as cold as in my country." A は B ほど〜ない means A is less ~ than B. The other particles don't make a comparison.
6駅まで歩いて十分( )かかります。
အဖြေ: 4 ぐらい
"It takes about ten minutes to walk to the station." Number/time + ぐらい means "about". しか needs a negative verb, and まで and を don't fit here.
7「〜ほど〜ない」の使い方が正しい文はどれですか。
အဖြေ: 2 この町は東京ほど人口が多くないです。
When comparing with B ほど, the predicate must be negative (〜ない). Sentence 2 means "This town doesn't have as many people as Tokyo." The others are not negative.
8物価が高い町です。
အဖြေ: 1 ぶっか
物価 is read ぶっか. Note that ぶつ becomes ぶっ. The sentence means "It's a town with high prices."
