Sato, you still haven't handed in your career survey form. Have you decided on your first choice yet?

You don't need to rush. Now is the time to explore different paths.
But my parents say I should choose a department that leads to a stable job. I'm wondering if I should just compromise.
Your parents' opinion matters too, but you're the one who decides. If you don't choose for yourself, you may have regrets later.
How can I figure out what I'm suited for?
Why not talk to someone who is actually working, like a graduate of our school or a relative?
I see. Come to think of it, I'm happiest when I'm cooking.
