Explicación
N に至るまで stresses that a range extends all the way to N. It is often used as A から B に至るまで, where B is at the far end of the range, something surprising to include. It works for time (from youth up to now) and for things (from vegetables down to seasonings). It is more formal and emphatic than plain まで.

Do not use it as a simple replacement for まで with a destination or a clock time. Use it to stress how wide or detailed a range is.
