Past tense of adjectives (was ~ / was not ~)

- いA(〜い → 〜かった) + です
- いA(〜い → 〜くなかった) + です / いA(〜い → 〜く) + ありませんでした
- いい → よかったです / よくなかったです
- なA + でした
- なA + じゃありませんでした
To describe how something was in the past, change the adjective. For i-adjectives, drop い and add かったです (暑い → 暑かったです). The negative is くなかったです or くありませんでした. Na-adjectives work like nouns: add でした or じゃありませんでした. The adjective いい is irregular: よかったです, よくなかったです.
例句
昨日は とても 暑かったです。
It was very hot yesterday.
旅行は 楽しかったです。でも、ホテルは あまり よくなかったです。
The trip was fun. But the hotel wasn't very good.
〜が好きです・〜が上手です
Like ~ / be good at ~

- N + が + 好きです / きらいです
- N + が + 上手です / 下手です
好き (like), きらい (dislike), 上手 (good at) and 下手 (bad at) are na-adjectives. The thing you like or are good at is marked with が, not を. The person is marked with は: 私は魚が好きです. 大好き means like very much. Before a noun, add な: 好きな食べ物 (favorite food).

私は 日本の 料理が 好きです。

マリアさんは 歌が 上手ですね。
Maria is good at singing, isn't she?

田中天気は よかったですか。Was the weather good?
マリアいいえ、よくなかったです。毎日 雨でした。No, it wasn't good. It rained every day.
田中そうですか。写真は ありますか。I see. Do you have any photos?
マリアはい、あります。私は 写真が 好きです。雨の 町も とても きれいでした。Yes, I do. I like taking photos. The town in the rain was very beautiful, too.
田中わあ、いい 写真です！ マリアさんは 写真が 上手です。Wow, these are great photos! You're good at taking photos, Maria-san.

"The town was very quiet yesterday." 静か is a na-adjective, so the past is 静かでした. かったです and くなかったです are i-adjective forms.

"I like dogs." Use が before 好きです: 犬が好きです. It is not を.
8旅行の 写真です。
答案與解析
答案: 3 しゃしん
写真 is read しゃしん (photo). The sentence means "It's a photo from the trip." There is no small っ.
