二日目の 夕方、わたしは 有名な びじゅつかんを 見に 行きました。ホテルへ 帰ろうと しましたが、道が 分からなく なって しまいました。スマートフォンで 地図を 見ようと しましたが、でんちが なくなって いて、使えませんでした。外は だんだん 暗く なって きて、しんぱいに なりました。
その とき、店の 前で 花に 水を やって いた おばあさんが 声を かけて くれました。わたしが ホテルの カードを 見せると、おばあさんは 紙に 地図を かいて くれました。でも、わたしが まだ 分からない 顔を して いたので、となりの 店の 人に 自分の 店を たのんで、ホテルまで いっしょに 歩いて くれました。
ことばは ほとんど 通じませんでしたが、おばあさんの やさしい 気持ちは よく 分かりました。この 旅行で、ことばが 上手に 話せなくても、あいての ことを 考える 気持ちが あれば、人と 人は 分かりあえるのだと 思いました。今は わたしも、こまって いる 人を 見たら、声を かけるように して います。
